Form F Assessors
We’re looking for qualified social workers to carry out Form F assessments on prospective foster carers. In return, we offer a competitive fee of £1,800 (plus travelling expenses) per completed assessment and access to training and development opportunities.
If you are a self-employed Form F Assessor working in Bristol, or Devon, with competent computer skills, experience of writing high quality reports and the ability to meet strict deadlines please complete our application form. SW Panel members required
Pathway Care is fully committed to providing high quality foster placements for children. The Pathway Care Fostering Panels are integral to this by ensuring that assessments of prospective foster carers are scrutinised thoroughly, comprehensive Foster care Reviews are undertaken and that high standards are being maintained across the agency, in line with the Panel’s monitoring role.
We require Panel Members to join our Pathway Care Panels in the following regions –
SW England Panel – We are looking to recruit a number of Panel Members to be included on the Central List for this region. This Panel is currently held at a venue in Wellington, Somerset and covers our Bristol, Devon and Cornwall offices. We would particularly welcome interest from applicants who have knowledge and/or experience of:
Education of Looked After Children
Being a son or daughter of a Foster Carer
Health and well-being of Looked After Children
Wales Panel – We are looking to recruit a Vice Chair for our Wales Panel which is currently held in our Cardiff office but may, in the future, occasionally be held in our Swansea office. This Panel covers offices in West and South East Wales. Candidates interested in this role would be required to have a good understanding of legislation relevant to fostering and the ability and authority to Chair complex meetings.
All candidates should have a sound knowledge of Safeguarding issues and a good understanding and awareness of the needs of Looked After Children. Candidates should also have excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and be able to promote anti-discriminatory practice.
Induction training is provided for all Panel Members and further training is arranged at least annually. Candidates would need to commit to attendance at Panels as agreed with the Agency.
Expenses are provided for travel and payment for preparation and attendance at Panels.
