Pathway Care Midlands Halloween Party
07.11.11
On the 26th of October the day started at Pathway Care with a lot of preparation work for the party ahead. This had been talked about and discussed at length and tables were carefully covered, spiders were hung on walls and bats arranged around the ceiling.
The Pathway Care Halloween Party day was finally upon us. They arrived slowly and steadily and soon the room was full of ghouls, vampires and assorted horrors, all a testament to the efforts of carer’s imaginations and make up skills.
In no time pumpkins had been distributed and were being transformed into some grim creations by all. Everyone was focused on the task in hand and soon there was a scary collection of carved pumpkins on display.
Next on the timetable was the Christmas card painting. Once again some very creative work was done. While the younger ones were looked after in the crèche corner, everyone else applied themselves to creating Christmas themed cards.
After lunch and a drink some party games were played and the always special ‘Mummy’ competition played out. Many thanks go to the good sports that agreed to be bound up in toilet roll paper and became ‘Mummies’.
All too soon the party was over and it was time to go leaving the tidy up process to begin and another successful holiday activity came to an end.
Great big thanks go to Jayne, Rachel and Katie and everyone that attended and made the day both fun and a success.
