Pathway Care Foster Carers of the Cambridge Regional Support Centre celebrated the start of National Foster Care Fortnight 2011 with a buffet lunch as a thank you from the agency for all the hard work and support they offer to the children and young people in their care. The carer group in the region continues to grow and welcome new carers to the group.
Vince McGrath, Regional Team Manager, thanked the Foster Carers for the commitment and enthusiasm they demonstrate on a daily basis for those they care for and making a difference to a child/young person’s life.
Pathway Care Foster Carer, Alison Eaton comments, “ It was a wonderful lunch laid on by Pathway Care which gave carers an ideal opportunity to get together and have a catch up in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We meet up on a regular basis for training and support groups but this was a great chance to just relax and enjoy the food together. We have come to look forward to this event each year that Pathway put on for us as a way of saying thanks.”
