Pathway Care Midlands has a new office. From Monday 16th August our fostering services will be based at the address above. All telephone numbers and email addresses will remain the same.
Successful tender submissions, growth in referrals and our investment in building carer capacity and the staff to support it, mean we have simply outgrown our current facilities. In particular, our new resource centre gives us a superb dedicated training area for us to hold our extensive carer and staff development programmes.
The move also has provided us with the opportunity to assess how Pathway Care can improve its responsiveness to the overall increased levels of referrals and the individual placement needs of the children and young people referred to us by the fourteen Local Authorities in the West Midlands. To deliver our commitment to provide a local placement service, with local foster carers for local children, we have developed a new and dedicated placement management team, with clear accountability for all referral and placement communications with our Local Authority customers.
The new placement management team is formed by:
Annie Jobson, Placement Officer. Annie has extensive experience in managing the referral process and undertaking statistical data collection.
Annette Botting, Senior Practitioner. Annette is an experienced social worker and manager and has worked in fostering for many years.
Gina Carty, Senior Practitioner. Gina has years of experience within fostering services and has worked within the child care sector for many years.
