Connections Bus Project Activity Day
03.06.10
Pathway Care has joined up with ‘The Connections Bus Project' and on Wednesday 2nd June the first activity day took place for all of our Looked After Children and Young People along with Son's and Daughter's of our Foster Carers, in Histon, Cambridge.
The morning was a great success and enjoyed by all. The Bus provides computer's for Internet access and Console games. Guitar Hero and Sing-Star were big favourites that generated lots of great performances from our Young People. There is also a dance area upstairs where there was a lot of boogying going on!
The Connections Bus also provides some outdoor games. There were many games of Swing Ball and bowls in the lovely warm weather.
There was never a dull moment on the bus and the Young People all commented on how much fun it was - no-one wanted to go home!!!
Working in Partnership with the Connections Bus Project is one method of implementing Pathway Care's commitment to reach out to our carers and children who live in a wide geographical area.
The next dates for the Pathway Care/ Connections bus road shows are Tuesday 27th July and Thursday 19th August.
