Hello, welcome to Pathway Care Midlands. My name is Joyce Masson and I am the Regional Service Manager for the Midlands Region. I began my social work career 2 decades ago now in 1986, initially working in Gloucestershire as a generic social worker and developing my interest in mental health work: how time flies! Following this I specialised in child care and child protection work within the same authority before moving to work inScotlandand then Oxfordshire. In 1993 I began working in fostering and adoption specialisms alongside developing my interest in social work teaching. I have continued to work within the fostering and adoption arena in various posts in different locations.
My professional motivator is the delivery of a quality service to some of the most vulnerable and needy children and young people in society, providing them with stability and genuinely better outcomes in their lives. Pathway Care staff and foster carers work extremely hard to provide positive experiences for children in our care and offer great resilience and dedication to make a real difference to children’s lives.
In our Regional Support Centre in Bromsgrove we continue to grow. We have a dedicated group of foster carers from a wide range of backgrounds who look after children of all ages. At Pathway Care Midlands we are continually seeking carers to join our team and we would be delighted to hear from anyone interesting in fostering with Pathway Care
