Welcome to Pathway Care, Eastern Region. The East of England region has two offices; one based in Oundle near Peterborough and the other in Over, Cambridgeshire.

The region is supported by two teams of qualified supervising social workers, a placement officer, a recruitment officer, family outreach workers and administrators. All social work staff and managers are registered with the General Social Care Council, as well as having a wealth of experience in children's services and family placement work.

One of our key professional drivers is to ensure that we deliver a high quality service to meet the needs of the most vulnerable groups of children within our society. Looked after children and young people require stable and consistent care in their lives if they are ever going to be able to reach their true potential. Pathway care foster carers work extremely hard to provide stability and positive life experiences for children in our care. Their high level of commitment and dedication to the children and young people placed with them does make a real difference to children's lives.

The motivation for joining our team as a foster carer should always be a desire to help and support vulnerable children and young people. Fostering is recognized as offering a flexible career path, with ongoing training and a competitive fostering allowance. There is an ongoing need for foster carers in the eastern region who can care for sibling groups, teenagers, children with disabilities, children with challenging behaviours and young parents and their babies.
