Foster Carer Vacancies
We are currently recruiting foster carers in all of our regions – South and West Wales, West Midlands and the South West of England (including Gloucestershire and Wiltshire)
Fostering with Pathway Care is all about giving local children a chance. Each year
thousands of children and young people find themselves in situations that mean
they have to leave their family home. These children and young people who come
into foster care are often frightened and confused and in need of someone to offer
them a stable and safe home environment.
From a lifestyle perspective, becoming a foster carer is a professional career choice. A
career that allows you to work from home, gain nationally recognised qualifications and earn
a competitive remuneration package.
At Pathway Care we provide children and young people with the chance to become part of a
family whether for a long or short period of time. Our foster carers provide children with the
necessary stability to take the next step towards building a more secure future and achieving
their full potential. The children we look after come from all different backgrounds and
circumstances, some with challenging behaviours. In addition to mainstream fostering,
Pathway Care offers experienced carers opportunities to further develop their skills within
our specialist services including Safe Steps Transitional Care and Parenting
Assessment Services.
Remuneration is competitive and reflects the skills necessary to perform the role according
to the child/young person’s needs. You will enjoy a supportive network of carers and staff
from your locality, all of whom will help you develop as a foster carer via training, support
groups and social activities.
